In this regard, the Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, acting Minister Azer Mammadrahimov signed an order on July 15, 2026. According to the order, Huseyn Jafar oglu Askerli was appointed as the Director of "Nakhchivan Post and Telecommunications Center" LLC.
Before his appointment, H. Askerli, who worked as the Deputy Director at that enterprise, led the digital transformation process, the digitalization of postal and telecommunications services, as well as the preparation and implementation of innovative projects in the direction of the application of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity solutions.
H. Askerli began his career at the Ministry of Communications and New Technologies of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, where he held a number of leadership positions. In subsequent years, he worked as the head of the sector at the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the head of the Information Technologies Department at Nakhchivan State University.
